| The Goal:
To create a glitch in the google system so that when you google the phrase "Size 13 Shoes" the first link on the page is the NBC: Law & Order: Criminal Intent page. Our own personal inside joke for all the CI fans around the world. Why we should do this: Well, it's a form of bonding. It will take a lot of us to accomplish this. Law & Order: Criminal Intent fans UNITE! Plus, it's damn funny, don't you think? Why "Size 13 Shoes": Because that's the lovely and talented Bobby Goren's shoe size. | How you can help: By placing a link to the NBC: Law & Order: Criminal Intent website under the words "Size 13 Shoes" in as many places as you can think of. Also, spread the word about the campaign. We need all the help we can get! Don't foget to sign the guestbook and share your ideas. How to: Use the following html code: <p><a rel="tag" href="http://www.nbc.com/law_&_order:_criminal_intent/" >Size 13 Shoes</a></p> minus the line breaks to create the link where ever you use html. Or, any other way you know how. I'm new at this. Remember, the link says "Size 13 Shoes" but leads to "http://www.nbc.com/law_&_order:_criminal_intent/" Places you can put the link: Your live journal; your live journal profile page; your fanfiction.net author profile; your myspace page; your myspace blog; your homepage; your signature on message boards; your facebook page; etc., etc., etc. It also helps if you register said pages with google so it knows to search them, because it may or may not find them on its own. So place it as many places and times as you can. See if you can put it somewhere once a day! Where the idea came from: If you google the phrase "Miserable Failure" the first result is the biography of Pres. George W. Bush. Under accusations that google politically motivated the search an explanation was posted as to why this is so. Thousands of people used the term "Miserable Failure" to link to the biography. My partner in crime, Alyssa, and I thought 'hey, we could do something like that with CI' and here you go. Let's see if we can make it so! |

| The Campaign is working! The NBC CI page is on the second page of links when you google size 13 shoes. It is on the first page when you add "" quotation marks around the phrase. On MSN search, the very first link is the NBC page! Keep placing those links. The goal is in sight! |
| Canceled! |
| Google has changed their algorithm and Goggle bombs no longer work. It was fun, but unless someone figures out how to bomb Google's new algorithm the camapign is canceled. For now I am leaving this site up as a monument to my silly experiment in sphere of influence. --Marion the Geek |
