Isn't she cute?
My favorite part about working at the Science Museum is the animals. This is me with Staley, a retired rat basketball star and the sweetest rat in the world. She likes to lick and she bruxes when you pick her up.
Sometimes she sleeps in her dish.
Her desk. She's the coach now ^_~

My mother despairs of getting me a camera phone because now she gets pictures like this. Lets say she is less fond of rats and snakes than I am.

The Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches and I have a special relationship... At each camp-in this year there are classes that require 6 roaches for study. Since I was already the snake girl, the camp-in people decided I could be the one to fetch the roaches. They're growing on me, I guess. It helps to call them all "Edgar."
